Steve began his career working for a local Long Beach architect,
then spent nearly 18 years working with a large
Orange County based architectural firm
specializing in Merchant-Built Housing, Resort, and Hospitality Architecture,
becoming Design Principal and the design department managing director.
While there, Steven created high-end single-family and multi-family residential developments,
and custom homes for resort, golf, and coastal communities.
His unique designs and innovated building types
earned numerous awards throughout the years;
including Attached, Detached, Community, and
Custom Homes of the Year
in many award programs such as
PCBC Gold Nugget, Best in American Living, MAME and ELAN.
Sailhouse, a single and multi-family residential development in Corona del Mar,
was part of a ten-year case study program conducted by the Urban Land Institute,
and has been showcased in the New York Times Sunday Magazine.
Steven and his projects have also been featured in
Builder, Coastal Living, California Homes, Options, Custom Home,
and Alaska Airlines magazines;
and the table-top book,
Leading Residential Architects.
With more than 25 years of experience,
Steven brings his talents and passion home to Long Beach,
creating an intimate architectural practice
focusing on
Custom Homes, Residential Remodels,
and Merchant-Built Housing.
